What is an art print?

An art print is a reproduction of an original artwork, printed on archival paper. Every &Lighten print is made from a selected original calligraphy artwork, signed by hand, and made to be given and displayed.

Is this an original artwork?

No. &Lighten pieces are prints made from original calligraphy artworks. For a one-of-a-kind original, private commissions are available through the artist at ryanloi.com.

What paper and inks do you use?

We use archival pigment inks on museum-quality cotton paper.

Are the prints signed?

Yes. Each print is signed by hand.

Are the prints limited editions?

No. &Lighten prints are open editions, so the same piece can be ordered again.

What is an Edition Card?

An Edition Card comes with Framed and Personalised pieces. It records the title of the calligraphy, the artist, and the paper used.

Can we add a logo?

Yes. Customised pieces can include a printed aluminium plate carrying a name, a message, or your organisation’s logo.

Vector files such as PDF, AI, or EPS work best. A high-resolution PNG can also be used.

Mount board colour cannot be customised.

How much does it cost?

Print Only starts from S$220, Framed starts from S$380, and Personalised starts from S$480.

The final price depends on the size, framing, and customisation. Organisation orders are quoted individually.

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order a single piece or a larger quantity. Every enquiry is quoted individually.

How long does it take?

Tell us your required date when you enquire, and we will confirm what is possible in your quote. Quotes are sent within three working days.

Do you deliver overseas?

We deliver in Singapore. For overseas delivery, tell us where you would like the piece delivered in your enquiry and we will confirm the shipping cost and delivery options in your quote.

Print Only pieces are delivered rolled in an art tube.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is quoted separately based on the size of your piece, its format, and the delivery location. It is included in your quote, so you see the full cost before confirming your order.

Can I return a Customised piece?

Customised pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or contain an error on our part. We confirm the name, message, or logo with you before production.
